Texas Humor: Living it Up in Texas Cities
Dallas is the fifth largest state of America. It is no doubt that Texans love all their cities. And they tend to protect everything about it for all they’re worth. The inherent reverence of Texans with their hometown has been used in many Texas humor stories. And the Texas accent is not making the situation better. Texans speak English. But for some reason, you’ve got to learn Spanish in order to understand it.
Traffic is very much a problem in Dallas and in all Texan cities for that matter. Rush hour during the mornings and afternoons runs for four hours each. It gets worse during Fridays when traffic lasts all day. So if you want to while away time aboard your trailer, better read on Texas humor books and be delighted instead. Just a piece of advice: Don’t attempt to drive if you are not used to the Texas road signs and the directions that leads to highways with no ends if you try hard to follow them.
If you plan to travel across towns during the rush hour, prepare for a 4-hour ‘scenic’ drive. You might as well bring a packed lunched because there’s no way you can get out of the traffic jam. Don’t worry. There are a lot of Texas humors milling about to keep you entertained.
It is but common to see peculiar faces on the sidewalk. Those are all part of the humor of Texas. If you happen to see an old lady with a blue hair, don’t laugh. It must be the latest fad there. You never know it, but the girl with tattoos and a black makeup is a teacher in Sunday school. And the man with dreadlocks that seems to have never taken a bath in his lifetime is actually a millionaire driving a Royce or a Benz.
However, Dallas is not all traffic. In fact, you can try your luck at the North Tollway, where a local Nascar circuit seems to be apparent all the time. You’ve also got to speed up to run at more than 80 mph if you ever want to stay on the left lane. Otherwise, you’re going to be bumped from the rear just like when you tried to stop on the yellow light. The general traffic rule in Dallas for any driver, novice or expert for that matter, is just to hold on and pray hard.
Things are simply amusing in Texas. And that are all part of the Texas humor resonating in the state. It is a highly adventurous place to visit, especially if you’re up to a whole new challenge in your daily living!

My Grandpa (Pappy) told me never to ask a man where he is from. If he is from Texas, pretty soon, he will tell you and if not, you don’t want to embarrass him.
